Marketing Project Manager
As a Marketing Project Manager you will drive marketing efforts across Europe to acquire small business customers.
The successful candidate is a demonstrated experience in direct marketing in connection with sales and is looking for an outsized opportunity. This individual has in-depth knowledge of offline/online marketing, has commercially scaled an early stage business and knows what to expect from such a challenge. You will assume both a strategic and a “hands on” approach, able to develop the plan whilst strongly involved with its execution. The successful candidate will use creativity and analytics to develop effective sales and marketing in line with company targets.
Your responsibilities:
• Establish from the ground up all aspects of direct marketing: online (Email, sms, etc) and offline (snail mail)
• Work alongside company founders to deliver aggressive customer acquisition and revenue targets
• Coordinate with internal and external telesales teams, marketing, and product activities to drive acquisition
• Help to build a B2B brand within the small business community in multiple European markets (and beyond)
• Develop segmentation and customer insights to create personas and targeted campaigns
• Build the sales & marketing lead funnel with shared goals and reporting
• Optimise the signup funnel and drive inbound traffic for self-sign up
Your profile:
• Strong academics, with an advanced degree in marketing or business preferred
• 3+ years of marketing / direct marketing experience, including 2 years in a team leadership role for a digital product (B2C or B2b)
• Highly analytical, numerate, and technical: able to run the analysis required to drive decision making and know how to use the tools required
• Exceptional leader with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
• Strong and current knowledge of SEM, SEO, Social Media, Direct Marketing, Affiliates, PR
• Creative and innovative bringing new ideas and new solutions
• Strong, strategic thinker with the ability to drive the business strategy with a high tolerable for ambiguity
• High energy and ambitious – you know what success looks like and how it is achieved
• Experience with CRM systems and data visualisation tools
