CAD Assistant Manager

CAD Assistant Manager £200 per day

You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, programme and quality targets on London Underground & Network Rail projects. Utilising Microstation/Aecosim in 2D & 3D.

We are seeking a driven 3D CAD Modeller & Draughtsman to add value for our clients

As an CAD assistant manager you will be working for a Tier 1 Rail Contractor.

Establish and set up project CAD production systems.

Administer and supervise Project CAD delivery to relevant standards and process.

Maintain CAD quality.

Undertake production of CAD drawings in accordance with relevant drawing standards

Manage and store drawings and other project deliverables

Resolve complex service delivery issues and complaints in an appropriate and timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures

Carry out other activities related to multi-disciplinary Rail projects as directed by the Rail Civils Discipline Lead.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

Essential requirements:GCSE pass at grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language

HNC in Civil Engineering or Equivalent

Knowledge and extensive experience of using Microstation/AECOsim 3D

Knowledge and extensive experience of using BIM

Knowledge of rail related design

Excellent ICT skills

Ability to work to deadlines
