Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing our food inward supply chain, ensuring that required items are ordered and delivered on time to good quality and in the most efficient manner. In addition, providing support to the Head of Purchasing and Buyers in day to day tasks such as product sourcing, order placement, query resolution and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring order fulfilment through accurate demand planning
Scheduling and expediting on-time supplier deliveries
Quality Supplier management document management and processing.
Purchase order creation and management
Arranging imports, stocks and payments to overseas suppliers.
Supporting the Buying team with information gathering and general questions
Supporting branches and departmental teams by pro-actively managing supplier quality issues
Managing the supply base, ensuring that any potential risks to the supply of products are identified
Forecasting and stock control, ensuring the products are delivered on time and managing item shelf life
Provide appropriate store support in response to purchasing queries.
Liaising with European supply chain,
Our Requirements:
Knowledge in overseas shipping and logistics management
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in French and Spanish
Good Excel / PowerPoint/ Word skills
Effective organisational skills; the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks
Proactive approach to problem solving
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
